The 2020 edition of NFPA 730 features extensive revisions aimed at improving clarity and applicability. These revisions align definitions with NFPA 731, standardize definitions within Chapter 3, delete unused definitions, ensure accurate SI/metric conversions, introduce criteria for visitor credentials, clarify requirements for educational facilities, address security risks posed by foliage and trees, and incorporate cybersecurity criteria for network-connectable products.
