ULC-S330-1993 (R2016) PDF Download

The ULC-S330-1993 (R2016) standard is a set of requirements that address the construction and security performance of equipment designed to allow the deposit of cash, checks, and other similar items into a security container. The standard aims to provide protection against unauthorized removal of deposits.

The standard applies to products intended for permanent connection to 600 V or lower potential branch circuits, as well as products intended for cord connection to 300 V or lower potential branch circuits. It also specifies that the product's electrical connection enclosure and supply connection should comply with CSA C22.1, the Canadian Electrical Code.

This is the first edition of the ULC Standard, and it has been reaffirmed in February 2016 without any technical changes made to it.
