The CAN ULC-S604-2016 standard outlines the requirements for Factory-Built Type A Chimneys. These chimneys are designed for use with gas and liquid fuel-fired residential appliances and building heating equipment, as long as the flue-gas temperatures do not exceed 540 °C.
