NFPA 434 is a standard that provides general requirements for the storage of pesticides. It specifically applies to restricted use pesticides that are required to bear the human signal word "Danger" and those that are rated as "3" or "4" based on their health hazard warning determination. The standard covers various aspects of storage including building material arrangement and location, building construction, spill control and drainage, housekeeping, ventilation, and control of ignition sources.
