BS 9999:2017 is a British Standard that provides recommendations and guidance for fire safety in the design, management, and use of buildings. The standard aims to ensure reasonable standards of fire safety for all occupants and individuals in and around buildings. It covers the entire life cycle of a building, including the design process, ongoing management of fire safety, and alterations and extensions to existing buildings.
